Support for Decathlon lockable pull-up bar 70cm
prusaprinters
Despite the mechanism proposed by Decathlon, I was looking for an idea to create a support to secure the fixation of the 70cm pull-up bar from Decathlon. Decathlon uses a rotation pression system to lock the bar up between walls inside a door frame for example. With 2 quality plastic anchor by support, I added 2x40 kg per support of vertical capacity to the system. Before installing the brackets, I recommend that you tighten them as indicated in the documentation of the Decathlon bar and that you use plastic anchors adapted to your wall (not suitable for plasterboard). The bar should already be held without the brackets because the latter do not replace the native tightening system of the bar. I decline any responsibility of course even if the system works perfectly on a daily basis.Printed in PETG with 50% of infill. The result is very strong. The prototype has been tested with a clamp :D
