Support Foot for Makita Router (or others)
cults3d
A support foot for routers enables adjusting height differences when routing by hand, preventing tipping of the router. For Makita Router RT0700 plunge base: The foot fits directly into the guide holder. For other routers/brands: Use the adapter from https://cults3d.com/en/3d-model/tool/holder-for-router-support-foot. Attach it to the guide holder with an M6 hex screw or a lock screw together with a wing nut. In customizer, set head diameter parameter to 10mm for standard metric hex screw or 12mm when using the black lock screw shipped with the Makita router. Due to my printer (i3 Mega) consistently printing cut-outs 0.4mm too small, I added a 0.4 offset to head and screw diameter to compensate for this. Adjust this offset according to your printer's cut-out precision. Updates: - Made head diameter directly configurable to allow using hex and lock screws. - Added a base to the foot.
