Support Detecteur d'incendies & de fumées Version 2
thingiverse
I've created a new design for my fire detector/alarm smoke support. Prevention is always better than cure! My previous model wasn't entirely satisfactory. It required adding a screw and a nut that I had to remove every time I wanted to take it off. So, I changed the fixation system. I opted for an automatic locking system. I often move my printer, sometimes in rooms without a fire alarm. That's why I created this support so the alarm can follow the movements of my printer. The alarm used for this model is available on Amazon: https://www.amazon.fr/dp/B078PF3LS7/ref=sspa_dk_detail_5?psc=1&pd_rd_i=B078PF3LS7&pf_rd_m=A1X6FK5RDHNB96&pf_rd_p=1370598536209589035&pf_rd_r=RNZGBY7FADYYKKAHV2T8&pd_rd_wg=h6XXd&pf_rd_s=desktop-dp-sims&pf_rd_t=40701&pd_rd_w=kBBjf&pf_rd_i=desktop-dp-sims&pd_rd_r=8fc91843-730d-11e8-80b3-9131ac438cd8 I added a switch to cut the power supply of the alarm when the printer is turned off. For practical reasons, I increased the diameter of the front support/annulus by 1 mm. The fire detector now fits more easily. I also thickened this annulus, making it more resistant and less prone to breaking. To attach it to the printer's casing, you'll need two M3 screws and two hammer nuts.
