I found the spool holder "Ultimate Spool Holder" to be quite unstable and I didn't want to glue it directly onto my desk, so I came up with a different solution. For me, the "Ultimate Spool Holder" simply wasn't stable enough, and I really didn't feel like attaching it permanently to my work surface, so I decided to try something else instead.
