Support for LilGadgets Connect Headphones: A Solution to Fragile Joints. These headphones, though durable at first, ultimately succumbed to wear and tear at their weakest link - the joint where size adjustment meets pivot point. To reinforce this fragile area, support pieces were introduced, but they came with a price: the inability to resize the headphones. They are now locked into their largest size setting. We've successfully tested these supports on models LGCP-06 and LGCP-05, confirming a snug fit. The headphones still fold down, albeit without the option for size adjustment. The initial version (v1) of this support required eight M3 8mm cap head screws with nuts, four per side. On the inside piece, an internal chamfer was implemented to facilitate smooth installation against the hinge's slight raised area on the headphone arm. Future Improvements: A locking joint could be designed, allowing for each side to require only two screws. Additionally, internal ribs could be added to enable epoxy bonding, further solidifying the support pieces in place.
