Support for a Canon lens (100 mm Macro V1) for parallel mounting on a telescope. In this case it is a Celestron Nextar Evolution. The telescope is fixed by tightening on a Vixen dovetail. The lens fixing collar can easily be adapted to another type of fixing with 2 M5 screws. In the upper half collar, I have created a recess so that the protruding part houses or there is the AM/AF selector and focusing distance (this is the only place where print media will be required). Once in place, you can no longer see the scale of focusing distances, but this has no importance in astrophotographic use. The screws receiving a tightening button are glued to the 2-component epoxy as well as all the nuts in their housing. Good heavens to everyone.
