Supplements for djtaylor's Garmin G1000 (Mini) on Honeycomb Alpha Flight Controls, Bravo Throttle Quadrant
thingiverse
I want to build a compact home cockpit with my Honeycomb flight controllers and found djtaylor's wonderful project "Flight Sim G1000 (Mini)". Unfortunately, the project doesn't provide a panel bracket to fit the Logitech Universal Mount System and is missing some housing for buttons and the "Alps Alpine EC11EBB24C03" dual concentric rotary encoder I am using. So, I drew these supplemental items. I hope any flight simmer can build their home cockpit much easier.Related projects:Flight Sim G1000 (Mini) by djtaylor: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4771235G1000 Pan Zoom switch by FlightSimMaker: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4222606There are 2 kinds of panel brackets: G1000_mini_PFD_Stand is for PFD and standard size MFD (G1000_Mini_PFD_Right_Hand_Side), and the G1000_mini_MFD-e_Stand is for use with "G1000_Mini_MFD_Right_HandSide-_hybrid_option". I think most home-use 3D printers may not be big enough to print these panel brackets. I am using a 3D printing service called "Wenext" in China. You can find their Taobao link below. They provide good quality. The price is 0.3 RMB/g for Resin, so the cost of the G1000_mini_PFD_Stand is 163.25 RMB/22.31 USD. I think there are many 3D printing services in China with the same price.Wenext service: https://wenext.world.tmall.com/shop/view_shop.htmBecause the size of Leo Bodnar's BBI-64 and BBI-32 Button Box Interface are different, I drew 2 different planes to hold the board, so that I may change the board only by replacing the plane.
