Supper Rapman
thingiverse
Updated on 1-12-2013, here's an update on my Super Rapman printer: I added a third head and installed a perspex full frame box with four layers of HT anti-static spray to prevent static interference with the electronics. A heated bed and auto filament feeder were also included, along with a 1000-amp loadshedding backup power pack due to Escom. The printer can now run off-grid and has a solar back-up. I'm currently working on a filament supplier as a mod add-on. I would like to thank Jim Chronister for the RAMPS 1.4 Marlin firmware for the Rapman 3.1 dual head conversion, as it works well with my printer. Please refer to the provided pictures and stay tuned for a complete parts list in two sets: one for my parts and another for parts from other projects. All STL files will be available for download. I'm grateful to everyone who contributed to these projects. Check out the video tutorial at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RsFb9B5wldg&feature=youtu.be.
