This whistle required significant effort to create, as I spent 4 weeks perfecting its design. I extensively researched online tutorials, watching every video I could find about crafting a whistle, until I finally achieved the shape you see before me. The journey wasn't without its setbacks, though - my initial print attempts yielded a random, small shape that produced no sound. My second attempt, however, offered an improvement with the addition of a mouthpiece inside the body, but it still didn't produce the desired outcome. Determined to succeed, I delved deeper into research about whistle construction, yet it only seemed to compound my frustrations. That was when I stumbled upon an idea inspired by a nostalgic experience from my childhood - walking through a tunnel on a stormy day and being suddenly struck by the eerie sound of wind blowing across a recorder. It was this memory that sparked the design for my current project: a whistle with its lower end blocked, reminiscent of the blocked other end of that tunnel. For simplicity's sake, I opted to create it in a square shape. The printing specifications I employed include a high resolution, an infill density of 15%, and print settings optimized for quality. When utilizing this whistle, it is crucial to apply sufficient force when blowing air through it - your lips or teeth should be placed precisely at the top. If no sound emerges upon the first attempt, simply place your hand on top of the hole (but not in a way that obstructs airflow), and then try again with a straight, deliberate blow.
