Supersonic tandem wing vs. single wing airplane

Supersonic tandem wing vs. single wing airplane

I created this simulation to satisfy my curiosity about how much drag a tandem wing can reduce in supersonic flight at Mach 2 compared to a traditional single-wing design, as well as the lift that would be lost during landing due to this design change.Folders contain: - AoA0 - results of simulation conducted at v=686m/s with an angle of attack of 0°; conditions were maintained at Standard Temperature and Pressure. - AoA1 - results of simulation conducted at v=686m/s with an angle of attack of 1°; conditions were maintained at Standard Temperature and Pressure. - AoA12-v100 - results of simulation conducted at v=100m/s with an angle of attack of 12°; conditions were maintained at Standard Temperature and Pressure. - AoA12-v100+flaps - results of simulation conducted at v=100m/s with an angle of attack of 12°, flaps deployed; conditions were maintained at Standard Temperature and Pressure.- negative-space-wing (structural) - model of a simple structure concept for the front wing (flaps, actuators, and their attachments are not included). As I continue this project, it is possible that I will not upload updates here.
