SuperScanner Hardware (S2H) is a low-cost set of pieces and parts that can be used to turn a 3D printer into a microscope and 3D scanner. Some of these parts are printable, making it an open-source Work-In-Progress project. Note: SuperScanner Hardware (S2H) requires SuperScanner Software (S3) to function properly. The image processing library for SuperScanner has already been implemented but is not yet integrated into S2H. We are currently building the first machine and expect it to take some time before we can complete the integration. The base model of SuperScanner Hardware (S2H) uses the OneUp of Q3, which includes black and gray parts in the first photo. The blue parts shown in the first photo were created or modified by Thingiverse artists to improve the OneUp. As part of the SuperScanner team, we offer printable parts as FreeCAD Standard and STL files for the 3D scanner + microscope module and the rotating base (red color in the first photo).
