SUPERMICRO CSE846 120MM CENTER FAN ARRAY (FOR SMALLER PRINT BEDS)
thingiverse
These prints were designed to add three 120mm fans to a SUPERMICRO CSE846 SERVER in place of the center fan array. The print requires no new holes to be made on the server and reuses some existing holes, also requiring the relocation of the case tamper sensor for the lid into an existing hole. This will get you 98% of the way there, with minor trimming needed as it's a work in progress and is a snug fit. The case lid does fit but is snug. The print needs to be made from TPU and 3mm hardware: twenty-four 3mm bolts, six 3mm nuts (minimum), and sixteen optional 3mm nuts are required. It should fit any 120mm case fans, with noctua 120mm IPPC 3000rpm fans pwm being used in this instance. The case tamper sensor was relocated about two inches forward and an existing screw reused, with one screw left out. An air shroud does wonders for cooling but doesn't mount to this print. It can simply be placed there, making a huge difference in airflow without rattling. A CENTER-FAN-ARRAY-AIO v2.stl file is available as an AIO print (not pieces) per request, and it hasn't been tested for fitment so please let us know how it goes. TPU is preferred because it's a tight squeeze, and it's the only filament that has been tested.
