This innovative snap-on bracket features a two-part design, with store spring force energy stored in the parabolic curve surface of Half B (highlighted orange in rendering images). This helps to securely clamp Half B onto Half A with compression force; Half A is the primary weight-bearing component. Its blue-highlighted surfaces boast second moment of area properties, enhancing strength. When assembled, the halves hook together and resist sliding along the handrail due to their parabolic contact securing surfaces (yellow highlight). To release the clamp, simply pull the red tabs on Half B. Both parts can be easily 3D printed without support structures, while instructions are provided in jpeg format for assembly, disassembly, and printing guidance.
