# Superlux HD-681 Evo Headphone Mod ##### The Superlux HD-681 Evo are awesome Headphones to a very low price. The only problem they have is the little cable with the jack plug on the left side. ##### After about two years in extensive use and therefore a lot of movement of the cable, the insulation will eventually break. Also the little cables inside will break lose and you will have to solder them back together. This happend to two pairs in the last seven years. (I fixed them with soldering and duct tape) ##### Now I got a new pair and wanted to mod it, so the described problems won't happen again. ##### I designed this little mod that can be glued on the chrome cap and the cable, as seen in the pictures. It will prevent the movement of the cable and fix the problems.
