I printed out the standard strap and handed one over to a nurse, who was visibly enthusiastic about them. However, she pointed out that they were too short to work with one specific type of mask they use, but perfect for another. Realizing this limitation, I fired up SolidWorks, ready to make some adjustments. But then a spark of creativity struck me - healthcare workers are unsung heroes right now (and arguably always), and they deserve to be treated as such. So, I added some superhero logos to my revised design, extending the straps to accommodate their needs. My hope is that these updated straps will bring a little extra comfort and appreciation to the ears and hearts of our brave healthcare workers.
