Adding a CAI can unleash its full potential, but it's crucial to do it correctly. Simply relocating the MAF to a larger tube won't suffice, and many people prefer retaining the stock intake assembly rather than creating their own due to difficulties in adjusting the AFR. This adapter mounts the MAF identically to the original configuration, ensuring it reads the same value. The open-air filter and less restrictive intake will boost airflow without altering the MAF calibration. The modded MAF is sans vanes and designed to pair with Yellow Celica injectors (310cc). This setup tricks the engine into advancing timing while still providing sufficient fuel. Although I haven't personally tested this, feel free to use it at your discretion. The adapter fits 3-inch tubing.
