Birthday Cupcake Toppers: A Family Affair! Update: November 11, 2017 My daughter recently pointed out that Supergirl and Superman logos are distinct. The iconic Superman logo features solid yellow sections with no blue on the inside. Taking this insight to heart, I've created a corrected "Yellow Superman Section" design. While I haven't printed it yet, I'm anticipating some minor adjustments might be necessary due to its rigidity compared to the more flexible Supergirl designs. Please share your prints and pictures! I'd love to see how they turn out and be among the first to try this new design! SuperGirl Logo Printed in 3 Parts To assemble the logo, press-fit the three parts together. A small drop of glue may be necessary for added security. Make sure to add a brim to the yellow sections, as they can be tricky to place without dropping them. I found it helpful to insert them slightly and then flip the cupcake over to secure them in place. If needed, use Slic3r's "fix" feature for watertightness on the yellow parts. This should ensure a smooth print. Flash Symbol Brim Needed To achieve a better print quality, be sure to add a brim to the flash symbol. I didn't do this on this particular version, but I'll include it in future prints.
