Supergirl articulated doll

My combination of the new Supergirl with some of the original movie Supergirl is what I came up with. When printed with PLA only, you get a semi poseable figure that can move around, but the hips won't budge if there's a solid skirt on her. For optimal results, the skirt and cape should be printed with flexible filament if possible, which will make them easier to shape and pose. Print out all the components, remove any supports, and sand down the rough edges carefully. Be especially careful when sanding the top of the hip sockets, as they may need a little extra TLC for clearance. Assemble the waist and thighs first, then place the skirt over the waist/thigh components, insert the shoulder joints into the back part of the torso, and finally assemble the two halves of the torso together using the waist pin. For leg assembly, use 1.75mm ABS filament as pins, and use a hot knife to smooth out the ends so they fit snugly in place. Arm assembly is similar, but you can use the pins provided and still use a hot knife to smooth out the ends for a secure fit. Assemble both halves of the head, making sure it's nice and sturdy. Before attaching the head, place the cape on the doll first. A special note: the cape can be tricky to print because it's so thin (only 1mm thick), so you might want to consider making a simple material cape instead. If you do decide to make one, you can achieve that fixed ripple effect by positioning the material cape, spraying it with clear spraypaint, and waiting for it to fully dry before attaching it to the doll. The skirt and cape don't need to be glued in place, which is nice. I also added a pair of fists, just in case anyone prefers them - they might print easier than the open palmed ones anyway.
