Superduck! (Bath toy)
prusaprinters
Update: I've updated the STL and 3MF files with two versions -- one at standard scale (which was 150% in the previously uploaded model) and one at the full size of the original toy (330%). They each have wall thicknesses properly scaled to have about five perimeters of thickness. I also redesigned the eyes to contour to the bird's head shape and to protrude enough to be visible without causing a problem when printing them without support.Based on a toy I had as a kid. It has built-in ballast, so it always floats upright. Lots of fun in the tub. This model MUST BE PRINTED WITH 100% INFILL. It's mostly hollow, but it has a section at the base that needs to be solid plastic to provide ballast. The small version is about 7cm (3 inches) long, while the large version is about 15cm (6 inches)I recommend printing this with supports and either a brim or a raft, with the tail pointing down (see the included 3MF files). The tip of the tail might need a bit of cleanup, but the rest of it comes out pretty well for me. I also included some support enforcers along the bird's belly to make sure it stays stable during printing.
