This design houses a 12V supercap battery. It was crafted using 12 x 500F super capacitors, configured in a specific arrangement: six were connected in series and two packs of six in parallel, resulting in approximately 166F at 12V. The supercapBanc.zip file contains the gerber files for the PCB (I took advantage of an affordable offer from JLCPCB.com). Supercap_schematics.pdf details the complete schematic for the board, including protection circuits for each supercap with balancing capabilities, a two-stage charging circuit, and a switch to engage the supercaps when the power supply is absent. In my residence, all lights operate on 12Vdc. This capacitor bank helps equalize the power supply voltage and supplies the lights during mains power outages. It was fabricated using a 0.2mm resolution with 50% infill (2mm walls). No support material was used.
