Superbolt tube feed

Superbolt tube feed

prusaprinters

Securely holds ten round tubes, including older (larger diameter) and newer (Empire) tubes.  It has an o-ring gland, which could also be filled with a printed ring.  The supports are part of the model so that it can be printed upright, and they are easily removed.  This allows the model to be printed with filled filaments without small slic3r support layers causing trouble.  It needs flipping, so that the tube side is straight up.The inner bore for the tube has a 1 degree taper in order to hold the different diameter tubes.Re-use the set screw in the superbolt feedneck, but tighten carefully.  The adapter has some snap-in features where it fits on the body.  As is typical for a superbolt, my front dovetail was a little larger than the rear.  I used a needle file to even it out and round the top edges of the dovetail, making a nicer snap action.UPDATE: 2/22/2023After more play testing, I strengthened the connection to the body and added another ball-view port.  I use the original feedneck screw in the side of the adapter, and add another #6-32 set screw in the side.  I ran a tap through those holes, but they seem to print ok.  I used Meshmixer to add supports.  You can still use the original feedneck screw position, but the largest pull on the feed pivots over that screw, making it a weak support. TWEAK: 2/29/2024Moved the set screws 2mm inward to get a better grip on the top of the marker to improve the grip.  Included the 3mf file in case you want to print with your own supports.
