SuperBase Alu
thingiverse
I've engineered innovative supports and a fresh base that allows me to utilize a standard glass for my printer. I sourced aluminum foil from Amazon, and so far, everything is functioning seamlessly. To ensure the engine's optimal performance, I had to elevate the base to an impressive height, but it was worth the extra effort. To take advantage of this upgrade, you can print custom supports using your crystal or invest in a warm bed for MK2. This modification will greatly enhance your printing experience. For assembly, you'll need three screws with 5x40 dimensions since the new base piece adds some height to the overall design. Aluminum foil is an essential component of this upgrade and can be purchased from Amazon via the following link: http://amzn.eu/ePPMxn4 To expand my printer's capabilities, I've also acquired a hot bed to print ABS after upgrading the power supply. Currently, I'm designing a custom box that incorporates a flexible power supply type FLEX. When it's ready, I'll publish the design for everyone to enjoy.
