Superball Feet for Bambu X1-C
thingiverse
I spent (and wasted) a tenner on the official BambuLabs anti-vibration feet. You get 2 sets for your money (gawd knows why; I've only got one printer), but they were hopeless. They were a poor fit, and kept falling out when I tried to sit the printer onto them - and, if you do manage to get the printer to sit on them, don't even think about moving the printer, they'll just pop straight out! IMHO they were also too soft and flexible, and just a bad design all round. So I went back to a solution I used on my Ender 3 several years back: Small superballs from the kids' section of my local bargain store. About 30mm diameter. So, just the perfect size to fit the printer, without looking massive like some ball solutions. In this particular instance I took them off of my old Ender 3, as I'm returning it to stock to give to my son. Because of this, I already knew the green ones had the perfect hardness for what I need. Then it was just a simple case of taking my original design, slimming it down a bit for neatness, and adding the 6 segments to the top so that they were a nice friction fit in the existing holes on the X1-C.You only have to be careful of one thing: If you accidentally drop your printer, it will (according to the blurb on the original packaging) end up bouncing over the top of the house. So a nice short one today. I'm out of here, catch you on the rebound!
