I was in dire need of a reliable solder fume extractor, but every extractor based on PC case fans simply didn't deliver enough static suction. This design cleverly utilizes a ducted fan from a hair dryer to rectify this issue. The type of fan used produces significantly more air movement than its counterparts, resulting in the smoke being sucked up with minimal proximity required!
