https://youtu.be/-5vPr-wltco This stiffener is 30% stiffer than my other design. It's so stiff that drilling or using self-tapping M2 x 16 screws are required to attach the unit to the shifter. Without attaching this assembly with screws to the G29/G920, it will become dislodged during operation because it's too stiff to just be placed on the unit. For a no-drill assembly, use my other design: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3232535 These screws can be found in assortment kits on Amazon. Drilling and tapping holes or using self-tapping screws are options for attachment. McMaster 91290A047 (M2x16 screws) can be used to drill a 1.5mm hole and tap the hole with an M2 tap, or just use self-tapping screws for ease. Requires: self-tapping M2 x 16 screws Print at 100%. Please read this notice carefully: I built this stiffener to reduce slop in the Logitech G29/920 shifter. Many people have reported that it doesn't work as expected, but I'm not manufacturing this part for anyone. It's a small part and printing small parts requires attention to detail, including careful filament management and tight clearances between parts (0.02mm in the sliding area). If you look at my other builds, you'll see that this one has been most requested, despite being a relatively simple design. I had this stiffener on my system for a while before choosing to invest in a Fanatec system. Now I no longer have it and can't troubleshoot issues. If you want a better simulation or feel from your Logitech system, consider investing in a Fanatec CSL Elite. It's worth the investment for a more realistic experience.
