I hold a hex bit for use in tight spaces, carefully considering torque ratios to filament type and print settings - layer height, shells, infill percentage, direction, etc. Failing to do so leads to stretching of the thinnest area, as evident in the photo. In uncertainty over whether to lengthen or widen the piece, I added 2mm wide dowel pin inserts for flexibility in expanding on the project if needed.
