Super Size Me Benchy
thingiverse
I decide to print a big Benchy file using The Jolly 3D Printing Torture-Test by CreativeTools.se from Thingiverse. Part way through, I realize that my printer won't span the top of the window and the roof. So, I manage to stick the bed cleaning spatula in under the first layer above the window, which works out okay. I then realize I couldn't use this method for the roof. So, I pause the print at the roof layer and put some folded cardboard in, and it works like a charm. The cardboard just pulls out after the print. Surely, I'm not the first to do this, but I thought I'd share my experience.
