By removing the cooling fan and shroud, you can easily attach a super simple pen holder to convert your 3D printer into a versatile 2D plotter. This is the first version, which will be upgraded over time. To get started, open an image file in Cura and adjust the settings (more options will be added later). Next, place paper onto the bed and secure it with clips or scotch tape. Although it's theoretically possible to use this setup as a PCB plotter, I'm not convinced that the precision is sufficient for such precise work. However, vector graphics like SVG files yield the best results. Raster and pixel-based graphics can also be printed, but they require significantly more time and produce less impressive outcomes.
