Super Simple lighting and mount for Hypercube or any 2020 extrusion
prusaprinters

This actual remix does NOT require any printed parts. You simply need the led light strips and clear packing tape. I wanted quick and easy lighting for the Hypercube I am building and came up with this simple solution. KISS always works best (keep it simple stupid)

Search Ebay or Aliexpress, for COB Auto Light Strip. You can get them for about $1 delivered.

These strips are 12V and run easily off the power supplies. My picture shows how it is mounted using masking tape, so you can see how to put the tape. You simply take a small piece about 1.5 inches, tape the front of the light and then set the light in the 2020 track and pull the tape back over the top and tape it to the top. It forms a triangle and it is very stable. I use the slightly thicker clear packing tape, but any will do.

The picture of 2 yellow lights shows how it looks from the bottom or inside the cube and the white shows how it would look from the top looking down inside the cube. I still can't get over how quick and easy this was, SIMPLE.

The test .stl file is only there as thingiverse required a stl, LOL.
Category: 3D Printer Parts
