Super simple mount for E3D V6 style hotends on the Tronxy X5S and similar base plates, requiring no additional hardware beyond what comes with the printer. This design is a direct result of not having various bits for existing mounts, making it a convenient solution. Caveat: No part cooling fan yet implemented. Hotend Cooling: Use zip ties to mount the stock full block at an angle or the V6 cooler for effective heat dissipation. Tested and fully functioning, although still a work in progress. The next version will include fan mounts for the stock fans. Fang features a steady and smooth decrease of flow area to maximize velocity excitement at the nozzle. The Fang outlet is curved towards the bottom by a few degrees to prevent all airflow from going straight to the nozzle; some argue that directing flow towards the part is more effective than down to it. UPDATE 18/01/2019: * Added the Fusion360 file for those who want to continue development, as I've given up on the X5S due to numerous issues. The Fang design is not ideal in my opinion. UPDATE 24/06/2018: * Moved hotend 5mm higher * Anti-wobble support bars were added to the base bottom for increased stability. * Reliefs for back plate top screws were made, reducing excess material on the cap by 5mm. * The self-tapping angle of M4s was slightly adjusted. * A 40mm fan duct was added (untested) with height adjustment for clones or other V6 style mounts. * BETA fang was added, but it's untested and lacks bottom screw holes like most 40mm blowers; start with a 3mm spacer to find the right height for your hotend.
