The new design, named "Super Kraken," has a 85.565% mass reduction compared to the original part which weighed 2111.647 grams. The Super Kraken weighs only 304.808 grams and still fits within the original part's dimensions while maintaining a wall thickness of over 0.05 inches. The design was created in Inventor 2014, with renders done in Keyshot. FEA tests were conducted as per guidelines, applying forces at the middle of the clevis pin. The test results showed maximum stress levels of 97.62 ksi for 8000 lbs upwards force, 122.4 ksi for 8500 lbs horizontal outward force, 58.66 ksi for 9500 lbs at a 42-degree angle, and 92.44 ksi for 5500 lbs torsion force. Additionally, FEA testing confirmed that there were no differences between the original and exported .igs file versions.
