Super Hero Mask
myminifactory
My kid was dead set on dressing up as Harley Quinn from DC Superhero Girls for Halloween. The only catch - the costume didn't come with a mask. So, I took matters into my own hands and made one myself. The print is actually flat, so I hit it with a heat gun until it reached the glass transition temperature and became flexible. Then I molded it to fit my face (no way was I going to press hot plastic against a four-year-old's skin) and added a foam sheet backing for extra comfort. I also get that it's a million times easier to use a Cricut or heat form something like this, but I don't have one of those fancy machines. And if you're reading this, chances are neither do you! So let's just get over it already and move on.
