This is the 3'rd version of my chisel sharpener, intended for use on sandpaper sheets. The ergonomic shape lets you apply lots of downwards force with your palm for very fast sharpening. It creates a bevel around 25 degrees and its wide feet and aligning pins aligns it perfectly square. Prerequisites: Two 10 mm M5 screws and two nuts. Print with no support, and 2 mm wall/top/bottom widths for extra strength. After printing, press-fit the two nuts into the inside roof - this can be a bit tricky. Usage: 1) Loosen the screws and insert the chisel. For future sharpening at the exact same angle you could create a permanent mark on the chisel to indicate the extrusion. 2) Insert the two aligning pins from above to get the blade straight. The pins might be a bit tight until they wear in. Else polish them with a bit of sandpaper. 4) Tighten the two screws very lightly. Not much torque is needed to keep it stable. Then remove the pins, 3) Now slide the jig on a plane surface with sandpaper, such that the sliding feet stay outside the sandpaper. You can hold the jig as on the photo where the handle points through your fingers. Supported chisel width is 10-30 mm, and max blade height is 7.5 mm (hope it's enough, else let me know in the comments). Fusion 360 source included.
