Goodyear F2G Supercorsair The ultimate super plane - a behemoth of an aircraft that packs a ridiculously massive engine into its sleek design and sports a bubble canopy for the pilot's comfort. Despite never entering production, several variants of this marvel were conceptualized, each with different carburetor scoop configurations. I've chosen to highlight the short and long carb scoop versions, sparing you the details of the 'camel' hump variant. The Goodyear F2G Supercorsair made a name for itself in the Reno air races, participating in Race 57, Race 74, and Supercorsair#1. It's hard to imagine anything more thrilling than witnessing one of these speedsters tearing through the skies at the Mach Loop or Star Wars Canyon! For those interested in modeling this incredible aircraft, I've created a full-scale representation in Blender 2.79b, scaled down to 1/100 for the STL file. When slicing the model, be sure to scale it down to 35% for optimal results. To give you a sense of scale, the dice used for reference are 15mm in size.
