Secure your Magic Arm and Super Clamp to a wheelchair lap tray. The Super Clamp Wedge Plate allows you to secure a Manfrotto Super Clamp to a flat surface like a desktop, or as is in this case, a wheelchair lap tray. Super Clamps come with the wedge plate, but somehow, it always seems to get separated and lost. You can print your own with this. I simplified the design from the original and added through holes so I could secure the wedge plate to a 3/8" thick lap tray by screwing the wedge plate to the top side of the lap tray from the underneath side using 2, 1 inch, #8, flat head sheet metal screws. The wedge plate should be located about 1/2" from the edge of a lap tray that has no lip. Once secured with screws, lower the upper jaw of the Super Clamp over the wedge plate. The round bosses on the wedge plate should seat into corresponding holes in the clamp for a nice secure fit and feel.
