Superman's protégé is known as Superboy, a younger version of the iconic superhero with ties to the Superman Family. This persona originated when Clark Kent utilized his powers to assist those in need during his teenage years in Smallville. Additionally, he has been an integral member of the Legion of Super-Heroes. Created by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster, Superboy first appeared in More Fun Comics #101 in 1945. A second iteration of Superboy is Kon-El, also referred to as Conner Kent. This character is a clone of the original created through Project Cadmus using DNA from Lex Luthor or a clone of Superman and Lois Lane's future offspring. During Infinite Crisis, he succumbed to his injuries while battling Superboy-Prime but was later revived during Final Crisis. Throughout his history, Kon-El has been affiliated with Ravers, Young Justice, the Teen Titans, and the Legion of Super-Heroes. Karl Kesel and Tom Grummett brought this character into existence, and he first emerged in Adventures of Superman #500 in 1993.
