Video games empower individuals with disabilities to navigate situations that are difficult or restricted in the real world, facilitate social connections for maintaining mental and emotional well-being, and participate in one of the globe's largest leisure activities. While video game controllers offer highly precise movement controls, gripping a traditional controller and accurately pressing trigger buttons can be demanding. A popular approach is to secure the controller to a flat surface in front of the gamer using adhesive tape. The purpose of this project is to enable the top surface (featuring all the buttons) of a Sunwaytek SG-N30 game controller for Nintendo Switch to lie flush with a surface and translate trigger button inputs to that same surface. Visit sunwaytek.com/n30.html for more information about the controller. To print, the minimum required print bed size is 7 inches wide. If desired, cut a rectangle measuring 5.75 inches long by 6.4 inches wide to create a recessed area for the adapter. This prototype was printed using 1.75 mm PLA filament at 210°C, with a bed temperature of 60°C, a layer height of 0.2mm, and an infill of 50%.
