I wanted a special kind of glare protection that would significantly reduce distractions and improve my focus on tasks at hand. Specifically, I was looking for a tube-style solution that provides superior darkening capabilities, allowing me to concentrate more effectively without any visual interruptions. Additionally, I needed the entire setup to offer a greater viewing distance from the monitor, ensuring a more comfortable working experience. And, of course, it had to be quick and easy to assemble – ideally within 30 seconds or less. Currently, I'm using the Eachine 5802 7" Monitor, which offers excellent image quality and diversity. With a new version of the Race-Band on its way, I'm excited to see what improvements it will bring. Unfortunately, my circulatory system isn't compatible with video glasses – for now, at least. For this project's first iteration, I experimented with wall thicknesses ranging from 1 to 1.5mm, but they proved too fragile and prone to breakage. This revised version, however, has proven to be much more durable and effective in achieving my desired results.
