Sunroof Shade Repair Mount for a 451 Smart Car.

This is the third iteration of a design I ended up making and using to repair/replace the somewhat dodgy materials that Webasto double shot onto their panoramic sunroof for the 451 Smart Passion I have.  It's simple.  You print it in ABS/ASA as described.  You dremel or otherwise cut flush the black plastic post that's broken off (and there's likely to BE some…) and then use the mold release indents to glue one of these in place.  They're sized to epoxy or polyester automotive adhesive glue into the registration/release space for the molding and be positioned correctly for your screws or similar thread rolling screws to go back in and hold in place.Use ABS, ASA…or even more aggressive if you have it.  It's going to be…well…pricey if you're printing this in PEEK/PAEK/etc.  But PC or Nylon might work nicely.  ABS and ASA is the baseline as PETG isn't QUITE heat resistant enough and well…we all know about PLA and Automotive interiors.
