This spinner is designed for five 0.5" (or 12.7 mm) steel balls, which I sourced from a GeoMag toy set that was collecting dust in my workshop. The inner (spherical) radius of the steel ball holders measures 13 mm, while the opening is precisely 12.7 mm wide, ensuring a snug fit for the balls despite a slight shrinkage after post-printing processing. Once mounted, they should have a loose fit. The bearing used in this design is a 7x19x6 mm ball bearing (axis x diameter x thickness). To facilitate printing each part separately and in different colors, I've split the model into three distinct files. Edit: After printing the "sun" piece using PETG, I encountered difficulty achieving a satisfactory surface finish on the side facing the build plate. As a result, I uploaded a revised version of the design that can be easily assembled with cyanoacrylate (CA) glue for a perfect sun appearance.
