Sunlu Spool Adapter 30mm to 73mm

This is a pair of adapters to mount Sunlu Filament Spools directly onto 30mm spool holders. You'll find two versions within the zip file, accompanied by fusion 360 files for those who want to experiment with them. One version features a solid design and requires approximately 13g of PLA material to print. In contrast, the other version boasts a skeletonized structure, necessitating about 10g of PLA to print. To secure a spool, you'll need to print four adapters. The design is intended to slide over an existing 30mm Spool Holder before bolting together. Assembly involves combining four parts with 4 M3 x 12 screws and 4 M3 nuts. When printing, position the adapters as indicated in the STL file and enable supports. This should facilitate a seamless process. I created these adapters after discovering several designs that were functional but didn't quite meet my requirements. It took me around two hours to design them. These adapters are just the beginning of my Ender 5 upgrade journey, with multiple projects already underway.
