Sunlu S8 Z-Axis Mounts
thingiverse
These replace the original Z-Axis mounts to prevent the Z-Axis from topping out above 390mm on the Sunlu S8. Adjusting the Z-Axis stop is also recommended. To do this loosen the bottom screw and slide it down about 5mm and re tighten. This will also change the bed height so make sure to lower it before you do this. NOTE: I did not use the original silicone spacers like I original intended to do. I instead used 3 small O-Rings on each side I might make the holes smaller so the screw rods just fit inside directly. also note that it does not matter if they fit loosely in the holes this will not interfere with print quality because the gantry rides on the plastic wheels and the rods only are there to raise the Z-Axis. I have seen some people use bearings on the ends but it is completely unnecessary and just a waste of money and unless you get them exactly aligned it will put stress on the motors and lead do increased wear.
