Sunlu S8 Filament holder upgrades

I use a modified version of the Ender 3 ball bearing holder from Nathansc for my Creality printers, which I sourced from Thingiverse under ID: 3551666. The design works exceptionally well and I'm particularly fond of its threaded construction. However, I do encounter an issue with the bearings providing insufficient drag, resulting in excessive unrolling of filament during free wheeling. To address this problem, I modified Nathansc's original design to accommodate my Sunlu S8 spool holder, which features a 20mm stainless steel tube measuring 19mm in ID. I opted against using bearings and instead allowed the spool to spin directly on the 20mm tube. This modification effectively resolved the issue of the spool swinging during quick retractions. In addition to this modification, I designed and printed plugs for the ends of the stainless tube to prevent it from coming loose. If you find these plugs too tight or too loose, simply scale them in your slicer according to your needs. I successfully printed all components using a .2mm layer thickness, 3 walls, and 20% infill with no need for supports or brim. However, be prepared to rotate some parts to ensure they lie flat on the bed.
