Thanks to Enthusiast creating a great mod! Just remixed it to merge a Hygrometer to the front.

I got the hygrometer holder from Buszmen61 on Thingiverse. Sunlu & eSUN filament drybox - holders for hygrometer without drilling by Buszmen61 - Thingiverse.

PRINTING

No supports

Use PETG or ABS. Not PLA.

.2mm or lower

15% or more infill

Print the Base (unchanged from Enthusiast' design)

Print the Anchor with Hygrometer.

INSTALL

After printing base, remove the two front screws holding the heat plate down. Place the base over those holdes with the flat side against the S1. Replace the screws. Print the hygrometer. Install the PTFE tube into the anchor. Enthusiast intended a 4mm nut to hold the PTFE tube inplace. I have not needed one yet. The tube fit in snuggly. Install the Hygrometer in the Anchor. Finally, slid anchor into base and close the lid. You are done.

WHY?

Nearly all of the PTFE tube mods for the S1 exit the front pointed down. I liked Enthusiast's Anchor for PTFE tube, since it angled upward, which is what I needed. I also wanted a Hygrometer. The cleanest ones I found use the hole on the top front. Blocking that hole will prevent moisture from being able to escape, which is the whole point of the Dryer. I didn't want to drill holes in it (in case I change the setup around, which is highly likely).

Solution… connect the Hygrometer from Buszmen61 and combine it with the anchor. First iteration was in PLA. It was 90 degrees. It bumped the lid, which I could live with. Then it started melting. I thought it would be okay, since it was separated from the heat plate by the PETG base. Wrong. So, since I had to reprint it, I rotated it 5 degrees and trimmed the anchor for printing flat. I like it. Hope you like it too. Happy printing!

Timelapse:

<oembed url="https://youtu.be/AXqCjFr2r6s"></oembed>
