Sunlu filament dryer 4010 fan mount
thingiverse
As known, the dryer heats up mostly at the bottom. To make a better airflow for more consistend drying, i added a 4010 fan in the back. I followed this very great guide for opening the case and connections: https://www.phaserfpv.com.au/blogs/3d-printing-news/improve-the-sunlu-filament-drier-even-more I just made my own removable mount for the fan which uses the stock screws. Fan fits in place and can be mounted with screws if necessary (but did not test that because the fit is already tight enough). Because of the heat, use at least PETG but ABS is recommended. Metal gets about 80°C. Downside are the vibrations of the fan causing some noise.
