SunLu_Dry_Box_Rail_Mount Rework
thingiverse
Increased the allowable tolerances for the SunLu Drybox rail to fit standard 2020 V Type Rails. The original model has weird tolerance and non parallel sides that squeeze the rail itself leading to an interference tolerance. You had to sand the sides, but weren't able to get into the inside channel. You could try and force the piece onto the rail but it would often shatter before going half way. See link for example 2020 V type rail. https://www.amazon.com/Shipping-Printer-Aluminum-Extrusion-Bracket/dp/B07GBY833F/ref=sr_1_3?crid=2OI5FJH9GV2XO&keywords=am8&qid=1682282559&sprefix=am8%2Caps%2C149&sr=8-3&th=1 This is the Sunlu dryer box that is designed to fit. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08C9RZPMN/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 This one squares up all of the sides, and adds an extra .2 tolerance on each face to allow for easier installation. See Image 1 with the original odd square sides (see red circle) and the additional .2 tolerance structure. Image 2 is the final profile. Note, some sanding may still be required on the exposed surfaces to be an easier to slide. Also a wood block and hammer may be required to get the piece on the first time depending on how tight your printer tolernaces are. The aluminum rail will remove plastic the first time it is inserted. Once it goes on, it will come off much easier. IPT is attached for rework if needed.
