Sunhokey Z Axis Cable Chain
thingiverse
After brogio99's successful Z axis cable chain, he published a new chain. I downloaded his file, printed it out, and unfortunately found that it didn't fit. Here's an improved version, based on his VerticalClamp_nema99.stl design. My Guide X motor.stl takes the place of this clamp. The Guide X switch.stl routes the wires from the X switch around the Z axis T8 screw to the top of the guide on the X motor. Then, I connected brogio99's PD3R...link.stl to the Guide Bottom.stl, which is attached to the Z motor. You can still see the rough prints I used for prototyping in the pics. In order to get everything to fit together properly, I had to open up the back of the PD3R links since the X motor plug won't fit through them. If anyone feels like designing some better links, feel free to do so - just keep this problem in mind. Print Settings Printer: Sunhokey Prusa I3 2015 Rafts: No Supports: Yes Infill: 70 Notes: Use a Zip Tie to fasten the X motor guide and existing (or slightly longer) M3 screws for the other two.
