Sunhokey upper Z axis blocks w bearing
thingiverse
I am replacing the original upper shaft blocks for my 2014 Sunhokey Prusa i3 with new components. An 8x16x5 bearing with an 18mm flange is now supporting the Z threaded rod on my machine. To secure the smooth rods vertically, I use 8mm shaft collars and rely on friction to keep them in place within their new upper blocks. I upgraded my Z threaded rods to longer versions but if you prefer not to do this, stock shafts can reach the required distance by raising or adjusting your motor's coupler to the threaded rod.
