Sunhokey Replacement X-Carriage with E3D Mount
thingiverse
This is a complete overhaul of the carriage assembly for the Sunhokey Prusa i3 2015 model. It might also be usable on other Prusa clones. I merged Tech2C's E3D mount with 13DjjC13's x carriage, making several modifications to fit their designs together seamlessly. All these changes were made within 3dsmax. My main objectives were to create a solid connection between Tech2C's mount and 13DjjC13's carriage, while also refining Tech2C's excellent design. To support the cooling fan for the hotend-heatsink, I added a bracket. This new feature allows you to attach an LED light using the 40mm heatsink fan. I tweaked Tech2C's E3D clamp slightly and added another piece to guide the wires. The z-probe now uses a set screw instead of traditional nuts for quick adjustments, eliminating rattling loose parts. The fan duct is adjustable, and I made several tweaks to direct airflow precisely under the tip. To fit a 40mm turbo fan, I adjusted the model. Although a 50mm turbofan is more typical, I had a 40mm fan on hand and may create an alternative for a 50mm if one becomes available.
