I designed this dial to replace the old silver dial that's notoriously hard to use at any time. You can either twirl the small pointy end to spin the dial really fast like a spinning top, or use your finger in one of the holes and spin it fast with precision, or adjust the dial finely with the half circle cutouts. So far I've found it amazing but you can decide for yourself. The only redesign I need to do is that the dial fouls the reset button, but if you keep a poker handy then you can poke through one of the circles with ease.
